Last respects paid to Amu Kamei

Funeral service of Lt Amu Kamei, (Gaipoklung) was held today at his residence at Wadi Farm, Duibansui Longmai-4, Noney district.
The funeral program was attended by many renowned personalities including Dinganglung Gangmei, Nungba AC MLA and HAC Chairman; Joseph Pauline, Noney DC and various CSOs leaders from Assam, Manipur & Nagaland particularly ANSAM, Zeliangrong Union, Zeliangrong Boudi; RNPO, RNCM, ZSUM, ZYF, RNSOM, RNYOM, RNLP, and VCLA.
The attendees paid floral tribute to the departed and shared their condolences.
It is worth mentioning that Lt Amu Kamei served in various civil society organisations of Rongmei Tribe, Zeliangrong and Naga from his youth days till his last breath and rendered selfless service for the society.
He was born on August 19, 1952 and passed away on  April 19, 2023 around 7:30 am at Shija Hospitals.
