Science exhibition kicks off at MMRC Unity Park

THOUBAL, Apr 5 : A 2-days long science exhibition organised by Centre For Rural Empowerment and Development Organisation (CREDO), Shikhong Keithel began today at MMRC Unity Park, Khangabok.
The exhibition was conducted with the aim to give awareness on science education and scientific applications to students belonging to Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe categories of Ukhrul and Thoubal districts.
The inaugural function was attended by DM University Imphal, Vice Chancellor, Prof N Rajmuhon; KM Blooming Higher Secondary School Khangabok founder chairman, Kh Menjor Mangang; National Institute of Technology Manipur, Registrar, Prof Kh Tomba and Lilong Haoreibi College Lilong principal, Dr Raheijuddin Sheikh as presidium members.
During the exhibition conducted under the sponsorship of NCSTC Division, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, about 10 stalls were opened displaying various scientific technologies and innovations.
As part of the event, quiz and painting competitions were also conducted for students.
