Thingpui Village Authority refutes Security Advisor's claim

CHURACHANDPUR, May 25: A representative of Thingpui Village Authority has categorically denied the claim made by Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh regarding the recovery of arms and ammunitions from Thingpui village under Churachandpur district yesterday.
The representative clarified that the Bishnupur District Police Commando did not conduct any search operation or recover any arms and ammunition from the village.
Stating that the information shared by the Security Advisor to the media is blatantly false, he added that the same has been printed in many newspapers and misled the public. Thus, he called against spreading such misinformation.
It may be noted that the Security Advisor had informed about the recovery of one double-barrel shot-gun, two single-barrel shotguns, 18 cartridges and three Chinese hand-grenades from Thingpui village with the media yesterday.
