Power Minister Th Biswajit assures

IMPHAL, May 25 : Power Minister Th Biswajit has reportedly assured that the collective resolution taken by a group of MLAs and Ministers to protect the integrity of Manipur would be pursued without any compromise. Today, members of Thongju Kendra Relief Committee along with the people of the Constituency visited the Minister at his residence near Ningomthong Thongjao to enquire about his stand on the present crisis in Manipur and the work he had done so far to de-escalate the situation.
Speaking to the media after meeting Th Biswajit, president of Thongju Kendra Relief Committee Ibobi said that they had a conversation with the Minister about the prevailing situation in Manipur.
Saying that the Power Minister conveyed about the commitment of the group of MLAs and Ministers to keep the territory of Manipur intact, S Ibobi continued that the meeting agreed to not compromise the integrity of the State while working out a solution for the conflict.
He said that the Minister also requested them to help in restoring peace and normalcy in the State.
