Schools to provide free education to displaced students

KM Blooming Higher Secondary School, Khangabok and New Public Higher Secondary School Khangabok have shared that the schools will provide free education to all displaced students seeking shelter at relief camps.  
 KM Blooming Higher Secondary School, Khangabok founder-chairman Khundrakpam Menjor Mangang made the announcement through a press release.
Meanwhile, Kh Rajmohon, Principal, New Public Higher Secondary School Khangabok made the announcement during a felicitation ceremony held to honour two former students of the school.
In this regard, it may be noted that the Managing Committee of New Public Higher Secondary School Khangabok felicitated the 12th and 20th position holders in the recently declared HSE 2023 at the premises of the school today. Notbaly, the two position holders, Thokchom Rohit Singh and Saikhom Naoboy studied at New Public Higher Secondary School Khangabok from Nursery onwards till Class X.
Hailing from Khangabok Makha Leikai, Thokchom Rohit Singh is the son of Thokchom Raghumani and Thokchom (Ongbi) Susila and a student of New Era Higher Secondary School, Thoubal Okram. Meanwhile, Saikhom Naoboy who also hails from Khangabok Makha Leikai is a student of Herbert School Changangei and son of Saikhom Surchand and Saikhom (Ongbi) Parbati. In a show of encouragement, the Managing Committee of New Public Higher Secondary School presented the two young achievers with simple gifts.
Speaking in this connection, Kh Rajmohon, Principal, New Public Higher Secondary School Khangabok stated that the felicitation programme was held to encourage the two students who were shaped and moulded by the school from a very young age.
The principal added that students seeking shelter at relief camps will be provided with facilities  for free education at New Public Higher Secondary School. Further, he appealed to the State and Central Government to resolve the current turmoil in an amicable manner.
