Village chief condemns

IMPHAL, May 26: The chief of Wainem village under Kangpokpi district has strongly condemned the destruction of an iron bridge which served as a route between Wainem village, Aimol Tuithang village and Irengbam village by unknown miscreants.
The incident occurred around 3:30 pm today and the culprits dismantled the iron portion of the bridge in the middle and threw them in the stream below. The Wainem village chief has called upon relevant authority to look into the matter.
