New DGP calls on Governor

IMPHAL, Jun 2 : Newly appointed Director General of Police, Manipur and Head of Police Force, Rajiv Singh, called on Governor Anusuiya at Raj Bhavan today and discussed in detail steps to restore normalcy and peace in the State.
The Governor instructed the DGP to expedite the process of restoring law and order, said PRO Raj Bhavan in a statement.
The Governor also appealed to all to adhere to the measures the Union Home Minister and help to restore/establish peace and normalcy in the State, it said.
