Minister inspects

IMPHAL, Jul 15: Social Welfare Minister Heikham Dingo Singh and officials of the district administration inspected selected sites for building prefabricated houses for displaced people. The Minister visited the site of Loitang Khunou Spinning Mill and Truck Terminus in Imphal West. During the visits to the sites, the Minister said the present conflict has displaced thousands of people. Around 160 houses have been burnt in Sekmai AC alone.He said the prefabricated houses will be completed within a short span of time and all amenities will be provided to the displaced people.
