AMNEMEA extends aid

IMPHAL, Jul 23
The All Manipur Newspaper and Electronic Media Employees Association (AMNEMEA) has handed over Rs 13,000 in financial aid to Laishram Ambari, head machine man at Naharolgi Thoudang daily today.
According to a statement, the sum was handed over to Ambari by Khunjamayum Amuchou, president AMNEMEA, during a ceremony held at Naharolgi Thoudang office at 8 am.
It may be noted that Laishram Ambari's means of livelihood had come to a standstill after the daily halted all work from June 7.
