Kukis rebuild bunkers

IMPHAL, Sep 16 : Kuki militants have rebuilt bunkers on the surrounding hills of Yaingangpokpi in Imphal East district. Several bunkers built in this area were earlier removed/dismantled by a combined team of Imphal East commandos, Central forces and Yaingangpokpi police station.
But the Kuki militants have rebuilt bunkers in the same area and they have been firing at nearby Meitei villages intermittently.
The Kuki militants fired some rounds of shots toward Sanasabi village from Na-tumching today. They also fired a few rounds of shots from the hills of Tham-napokpi on September 13.
