Farmers' training programme conducted

IMPHAL, Sep 16: Leimaram Youth Lamjing Lup (LYLL) under the aegis of the State Agriculture Department organised a one-day farmers' training programme at the office of LYLL.
The training programme was conducted under Rashtriya Krishi Vikash Yojana.
Agriculture Director M Gojendro and LYLL president Sh Budhichandra graced as the presidium members of the training programme attended by farmers from different places.
As a part of the programme, pesticide sprayer pumps were distributed to the farmers.
Addressing the gathering, Agriculture Director M Gojendro said that the Agriculture Department is focused on making Manipur, a self reliant State in terms of food production.
In line with the above objective, today's farmers' training programme has been organised to help the farmers in striving for enhanced food productivity.
