Date with Amit Shah likely today

IMPHAL, Sep 16: Ministers and MLAs of ruling party camping at Delhi didn't meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah today, but they may meet him tomorrow, said sources.
The Ministers and the MLAs could not meet the Union Home Minister as the latter had a prior engagement today. They are likely to meet Amit Shah tomorrow afternoon, said the source.
Notably, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is meeting the Ministers and MLAs batch-wise.
A batch of MLAs including Thokchom Radheshyam, Karam Shyam, Khwairak-pam Raghumani had met the Union Home Minister yesterday night at around 8.30.
At 9.30 pm, the Union Home Minister met MLA Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh, MLA Khongbantabam Ibomcha, Dr Yumnam Radheshyam, Dr Usham Deben, Thongam Shanti and Khuraijam Loken.
During the meetings, the MLAs discussed several key issues and urged the Union Home Minister to take action against armed Kuki 'terrorists', reject separate administration and protect Manipur's integrity.
Even as Ministers and the MLAs in Delhi are likely to meet Amit Shah batch-wise, a batch of MLAs comprising Keishamthong AC MLA Nishikant Singh Sapam, S Kebi, I Nalini and Tong-bram Robindro may meet him tomorrow, said the source.
Meanwhile, at around 11 am at Manipur Bhavan, the ruling Ministers and MLAs held a meeting and minutely discussed several issues to be put before Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
A number of Ministers and MLAs are presently at Delhi to press the Centre to ensure the integrity of Manipur as a distinct geo-political reality and not to cave in to the separate administration call raised by the Kuki MLAs.
