RIMS organises patient safety programme

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal today organised a Patient Safety Programme under National Medical Commission, New Delhi in front of the newly constructed OPD Block, RIMS Hospital, Imphal.
During the programme, Manipur Fire Services, Government of Manipur conducted CODE RED, CODE BLUE and CODE PINK mock drill which aims to train the staff on fire safety preparedness and create awareness of practical fire safety ways for hospital staff, said RIMS in a release.
The participants were also made aware on how to respond during a fire crisis and evacuation of patients safely in case of an emergency.
The programme was attended by Prof N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS, Imphal; A Jilangamba, Sub Officer, Manipur Fire Services; Prof Y Govindaraj, Nodal Officer Kaya Kalp/SAP; faculty members, nursing officials, staff of Manipur Security Service and CRED, RIMS, Imphal.
