IMPHAL, Sep 19 : Families of 5 arrested village volunteers met with Chief Minister N Biren Singh today, but both sides couldn't reach an agreement.
Amid the 48-hour Manipur bandh called by All Langthabal Kendra Clubs Coordinating Committee demanding the release of the five arrested from Kongba on September 16, a large number of people including representatives of Thawai Meerel Women Wing, local clubs and members of their families had marched towards Chief Minister's Bungalow to meet N Biren Singh.
