Counselling programme conducted for women with disabilities

The Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Manipur organised a "Family counselling programme for conflict affected women with disabilities in relief camps" at Kwakta Santhong under Bishnupur district.
The counselling programme was conducted under the supervision of Chuongsin Koireng, member of Manipur State Commission for Women.
The programme was organised with the objective of assessing the condition of women with disabilities living in relief camps as part of the human act of 'loving, sharing and caring' for each other.
Notably, Nimol Ningombam, Relief Centre Media Advisor is taking up measures to provide a means of earning livelihood to the women with disabilities in relief camps.
