Water purifier installed

IMPHAL, Sep 7 : Indian Red Cross Society Manipur State Branch and IRCS Bishnupur District Branch under the supervision of Bishnupur Deputy Commissioner & IRCS Bishnupur District Branch president Lourembam Bikram, today installed a water purifier at Moirang College Block A Relief Camp.
The water purifier was installed under the Multi Sectoral Humanitarian Assistance & Coordination for Conflict Affected Districts of Manipur, Water And Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) Project of UNICEF.
The event was attended by IRCS Manipur State Branch treasurer Premjit Naoroibam, IRCS Imphal East joint secretary RK Devtaranjan, IRCS Bishnupur District Branch secretary Dr Huidrom Romen, and IRCS Bishnupur District Branch publicity secretary Huidrom Ronibala Chanu among others.
Notably, the water purifier installed at the relief camp has the capacity to purify 700-1000 litres of water per hour.
