Sunil Elangbam elected as new MOA president

IMPHAL, Jan 14 : Sunil Elangbam has been elected as new president of the Manipur Olympic Association (MOA) along with 23 other office bearers during the annual general body meeting cum election of the association held today.
The meeting cum election was held at the conference hall of Manipur Olympic Bhavan, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex this morning with Chongtham Momon Singh as the Returning Officer to the said election.
Sunil Elangbam was elected as the new president while K Baruni was elected as senior vice president along with six vice presidents- GA Sanatomba Sharma, M Ratankumar Singh, M Rachandra Singh, Bobby Waikhom, T Dushanta Singh and M Chourajit Singh.
Meanwhile, L Jayantakumar Singh was elected as the new secretary general of the association along with N Ibungochoubi, L Shantakeshor Singh, Th Jayanta Singh and A Johnson Singh as joint secretaries.
Kirankumar Thangjam was in the meantime elected as the new treasurer besides 10 executive members- Ito Tongbram, H Sanjeev Sharma, T Brajabidhu Singh, Y Bony Singh, M Madhusudon Singh, N Rajendro Singh, Th Samananda, H Shashanka Shekhar Sharma, Ng Inaocha Singh and E Sobha Singh.
