14th BOG meeting of RIMS held at New Delhi

IMPHAL, Jan 19
The 14th Board of Governors (BOG) meeting of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Society, Imphal was held on January 17, 2024 at Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Mansukh L Mandaviya, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India who is the President of Board of Governors, said a release issued by RIMS Imphal.
Prof G. Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director represented RIMS Imphal as a member secretary.
Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh, Health Minister of Manipur; Prof N Lokendra Singh, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University and representatives from other North Eastern states also attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed various agenda including upgrading RIMS, Imphal to the status of Institute of National Importance (INI).
