Mayai Lambi Sports Academy greets judoka Linthoi

The Mayai Lambi Sports Academy (MLSA) has extended its heartfelt greetings to State judoka Chanambam Linthoi on being shortlisted for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Award 2024.
MLSA acknowledged that 17-year old Linthoi is a very disciplined and hard-working judoka born to Chanambam Ibohal and Chanambam Ongbi Guneshori Devi of Mayang Imphal Thana in Imphal West district.
Linthoi who shot to fame after clinching a gold medal (57 kg) at the World Cadet Judo championship hosted in Sarajevo in 2022, is undertaking high performance training at Inspire Institute of Sports in Karnataka, it said while extending best wishes for her future endeavours.
By clinching the gold medal, Linthoi became the first ever Indian medalist in any age category of the World Championships.
