Cleanliness drive conducted

THOUBAL, Jan 28: As a part of Eco Network Heirok's ongoing River Rejuvenation Campaign, the 11th Heirok-Wangjing River Cleanliness Drive was conducted today along the river bank in the general area of Heirok Part II Mayai Leikai Community Hall.
A statement issued by Shinthangamba Laishram, president, Eco Network Heirok has said that the drive was conducted by the meira paibis of Ningol Club and DLC Club.
Eco Network Heirok also called for proper disposal of the wastes collected at homes to keep the river clean as the river water is used by the locals for various purposes.
