Civic action programme organised

29 BN BSF organized a civic action programme at Cl Post Damodar under the aegis of Sector Headquarter BSF CI (Operations) Manipur on January 5..
The programme was graced by Sh Kulwinder Singh, DIG SHQ CI (Operations) Manipur in the presence of Sh Sonam Chhering, Commandant 29 Bn BSF.
Village chiefs along with representatives of Leikoiching, Sopleng, Happy Land, New Salem, Kakching, Nongren, Nappet Palli and Oksu village were present at the programme.
Various items like HDPE pipe, solar street light, gym items, water sintax, sewing machines, sports items like sports uniform, carrom boards, volleyball, basketball, football, nets etc were distributed among the village heads for common use of villagers.
Furthermore, Sh Kulwinder Singh alongwith Sh Sonam Chhering visited Senior Citizens Home (old-age home) at Laiching Nongpok Kakching near CI Post Damodar and distributed blankets, rice, pulses and other edible items.
