IW 1st Divn Football League: PAMYAL, NC Club post narrow victories

IMPHAL, Oct 1 : PAMYAL, Patsoi and NC Club, Khonghampat secured narrow wins in today's matches of the ongoing 29th L Sangita Devi Memorial 1st Division Football League 2024 at PAMYAL ground.
In the Group B match of the day, PAMYAL who suffered a narrow first game loss to YWC-M, bounced back to beat BMSC by 2-1 goals to keep their knock-out stage hopes alive.
Kh Ronaljit found the opener for PAMYAL after 26 minutes as BMSC defence resisted in the earlier proceedings.
After leading the first half 1-0, S Boris doubled the advantage for PAMYAL in the 65th minute before BMSC pulled back a goal in the 74th minute.
BMSC however failed to come to level terms despite their efforts in the later stages.
Later in the day, NC Club extended their unbeaten run in Group A competition by defeating YAC, Yaiskul 1-0.
The lone goal that earned NC Club all three points after their first game draw with KAN, Kadangbam, was scored by Manisana in the 40th minute.
Juvenile will face YWC-M in the next Group B match on October 1 from 12.30 pm at the same venue before SCK, Kodompokpi play KAN, Kadangband from 2.30 pm in a Group A match.
