Premson, Indiver fetch gold at BIMSTEC Aquatics C'ships 2024

IMPHAL, Feb 10 : Manipuri divers Yumnam Premson and Indiver Sairem won India four medals including two gold at the BIMSTEC Aquatics Championships 2024 hosted by India at New Delhi's Talkatora Stadium from February 7 to 9.
Y Premson won a gold medal in the men's platform competition with a score of 310.55 points as Indiver Sairem finished second with 278.70 points. Thailand's Natthanon Sripathum finished third in the event scoring 272.55 points.
Indiver, however, topped the men's 3 m springboard event to win a gold medal as compatriot Risav Das (336.10) and Thailand's Theerapat Tondee (256.90) finished second and third.
Y Premson also clinched a silver medal by finishing second in the men's 1 m springboard event with 227 points. Rupan Gogoi (338.30) topped the competition as Adithep Khpuechklang  of Thailand (315.35) finished third. India emerged overall champions in swimming and diving championships with 360 points and 63 points as Thailand emerged overall water polo champions.
