KYKL celebrates MYL raising day

IMPHAL, Feb 16: The proscribed KYKL today celebrated the 20th raising day of its armed wing Meeyamgi Yawol Lanmee (MYL) at the outfit’s Central headquarters, battalion headquarters, Central unit command, units and different locations of Kangleipak and beyond.
The main function was held at the Central headquarters with the outfit’s Chairman unfurling the party’s flag, conveyed a press release issued by the outfit’s  publicity and research secretary Y Yaiphaba.
Offering of tributes to all those who had laid down their lives in the course of the revolutionary movement and speeches by the outfit’s Chairman and the chief of the army staff were the main highlights of the function.
In his speech, the Chairman stated that the chaotic   situation seen today in Kangleipak is a result of the alleged forced annexation of  Kangleipak by India and  subsequent establishment of a puppet Government while the real political and economic power are wrested by New Delhi.
While the puppet Government has been dancing to the tune of their New Delhi masters, a society of spineless and dispirited is being created in Kangleipak, the Chairman said.
The chief of army staff asserted that all revolutionary cadres/combatants must abide by the military discipline.
