9 State fencers in National team for Cadet and Junior Asian Fencing C'ship

IMPHAL, Feb 4 : As many as 9 Manipuri fencers are in the National team for the Cadet and Junior Asian Fencing Championship due to be held from February 16 to 25 in Manama, Bahrain.
The State fencers who made it to the National team are M Dollar (Junior) and K Ramakanta (cadet) in epee team; S Hemash, K Denny and W Sonia in junior foil team; K Abhinash and T Mangaleibi in cadet foil team; L Moramba and L Abi in junior sabre team.
H Suranjoy, W Ibomcha and K Omi are the coaches who will be leading the team.
The fencers and coaches have left Imphal today for pre-championship National camp to be held in Pune.
