IMPHAL, Feb 5 : NAPSA-Kha Imphal defeated KCC-Kongba by 5 wickets to cap 11th Manipur Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament Group B campaign with three of three wins at Langthabal Public Ground.
KCC could muster only 100 runs for six wickets after being put in to bat first and NAPSA eased to the target in 17.4 overs with 5 wickets left to spare. N Johny 3/13 led the NAPSA bowling attack to throttle the KCC innings which saw Iqbal 38, Kiran 18 and Bonny 15 leading the batting attack. Gopal and Bhogendro also claimed a wicket apiece for NAPSA before Simon 41, Ratan 21, Bipin 17 set up the victory (102/5) in 17.4 overs.
Sonjoy claimed two wickets for KCC as Bonny, Barneshwor and Devkanta sealed a wicket apiece.
N Johny of NAPSA who starred with his bowling was adjudged man of the match.
