Retired Brigadier of NNC/FGN Naga Army BP Sangthuan passes away

Retired Brigadier NNC/FGN Naga Army BP Sangthuan, expired today at his residence after suffering from stomach cancer.
His funeral service was held today at his native village, Bakuwa Village in Haochong Sub-Division in Noney district with AL Khumba, executive secretary INBCA as the Funeral Minister.
Various civil society organizations (CSOs) leaders from Longmai Area attended the program.
The attendees recounted the services of late BP Sangthuan for the Naga Nation & Zeliangrongpui community in particular.
He joined the Naga Army in 1955 and got promoted to the Rank of Brigadier in the 1st Battalion of NNC/FGN in 1957.
He was also the pioneer of several prayer centres in his village and Longmai area.
