Kavita strikes gold at 15th Mr India Senior Men and Women's National Bodybuilding C'ship

IMPHAL, Mar 17 : Engudam Kavita won a gold medal in the 15th Mr India 2024-Senior Men and Women's Bodybuilding National Championship hosted in Ludhiana, Punjab.
Kavita, an athletes of Friends Fitness Gym in Tera, won the gold medal in the women's 55+ kg category competition.
Neta Laishram however settled for a silver medal in the men's 60 kg category competition while Thokchom Sanjeeta bagged a bronze medal in the women's 55 kg category event.
In all 390 athletes from 32 State units and sports boards are taking part in the two day competition.
Manipur's medal tally is expected to rise with results of more athletes are impending at the time of filing this report.
