SFs nab 13 UG cadres along with large cache of arms, rescue one

IMPHAL, Mar 23 : A combined team of security forces raided two places and arrested 13 cadres of KCP (People's War Group) along with a large cache of arms and ammunition.
The raids were carried out at Loitang Sandum and Kameng Sabal by Imphal West, Thoubal and Bishnupur police, 4 Assam Rifles and CRPF.
Reportedly, one person was also rescued from Kameng Sabal.
10 cadres of KCP (PWG) were arrested from Loitang Sandum while three others were arrested from Kameng Sabal.
The arms and ammunition seized from Loitang Sandum include  one AK Rifle and one magazine along with eighteen rounds of 7.62 mm; one INSAS Rifle (FB) and four magazines along with 36 rounds of 5.56mm; one carbine and one magazine along with twenty rounds of 9mm; one carbine and one magazine along with fifteen rounds of 9mm; one carbine and one magazine along with fifteen rounds of 9mm; one 9mm pistol along with one magazine containing seven rounds of 9mm; one modified .303 Rifle and one magazine along with eight rounds of .303 ammunition; two hand grenades; on white Maruti Gypsy; eight mobile phones; one  double barrel gun with eleven 12 bore cartridges; one binocular; three demand letters; one diary containing financial transactions and arms list of the KCP (PWG); one attendance register of RIMS and a  file containing incriminating documents/
While from Kameng Sabal, one carbine with magazine; one .303 rifle with magazine; one mobile phone; training stick/ bamboo dummy gun; three camouflage caps, two full sleeve camouflage shirts,  three jackets; one white Bolero camper; one Maruti Gypsy; one Chevrolet Beat (car), one Activa (blue) and one Vespa (red).
One Sagolshem Bobo (28), s/o Late S Itomcha of Sagolmang Pukhao was rescued from Kameng Sabal and was later handed over to his family members.
