Anita bags gold at Khelo India Women's Fencing League

IMPHAL, Mar 22 : Manipur clinched as many as 4 medals including a gold medal at the Khelo India Women's Fencing League being organised by the Fencing Association of India and Sports Authority of India at IG Sports Complex, New Delhi.
The only gold medal for the State was registered by Th Anita in the individual foil event. She bagged a cash prize of Rs 50,000 for her gold medal feat. Meanwhile, W Sonia (foil individual), Shrimayum Robert Sharma (senior men's epee) and Chingtham Ronaldo (junior men's foil) won a bronze medal each to claim Rs 30,000 respectively.
