Bodies appeal for ritual-only Yaoshang

In view of the present crisis in the State and the hardships besetting the people, the Uripok Apunba Lup (UAL) and Khuman United Clubs & Meira Paibi Association (KUCMA), Mayang Imphal have appealed to the people to celebrate Yaoshang this year by conducting only the basic religious rituals.
In separate releases, UAL and KUCMA have appealed to the public to forgo all recreational programmes during the upcoming Yaoshang festival including Yaoshang sports, Thabal Chongba, playing with colours & water, and collection of money.
