SoO meet not yet fixed

IMPHAL, Mar 3: No date has been fixed as yet on holding a tripartite meeting among the Government of India, Government of Manipur and Kuki militant groups under Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreement.
As the current term of SoO agreement had expired on February 29 last, a tripartite meeting should be held if the agreement should be extended, sources informed.
Notably, Government of India, Government of Manipur and several Kuki militant groups under two umbrella organisations namely; KNO and UPF inked the tripartite SoO agreement on August 22, 2008.
