IMPHAL, Mar 5: A combined force of Army and police conducted search operations in Kangpokpi district's Sadar Joute and T Mongbung villages and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition today.
The arms and ammunition recovered include one 9 mm Carbine, one country made Mortar, one 9 mm Pistol, one country made Pompi gun, one grenade, ammunition, explosives and other warlike stores, said PIB Defence Wing in a statement.
The recovered items have been handed over to police.
