AMBBA names 11 athletes selected for Indian team trial

IMPHAL, Apr 15 : The All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) has announced the names of players shortlisted to attend National team trial for the upcoming 56th Asian and 15th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships.
The athletes who will undergo National team trial slated to be held from May 11 to 12 at Kochi, Kerala as per the AMBBA are :
Junior Men's Bodybuilding : Th Yaisana (-75 kg) of Royal Gym, Ningomthong; Kh Rishikanta (-75 kg) of Friend Fitness Gym Tera; Chongtham Bluncely (+75 kg) of Ogust Gym, New Checkon;
Senior Men's Bodybuilding : RK Sanathoi (70 kg) of Sangai Gym, Khagempalli; Y Luwangamba (70 kg) of Royal Gym, Ningomthong; S Bhaktaraj (75 kg) of RFA, Thoubal; K Arnold (80 kg) of MPSC; A Pibarel (80 kg) of YBB Gym, Pishum;
Women's Bodybuilding : Engudam Kavita (+55 kg) of Friend Fitness Gym;
Masters Bodybuilding : Longjam Boynao (-80 kg) of NFC, Nambol and
Men's Athletic Physique : Joyheet Waikhom of Royal Gym, Ningomthong.
Notably, 56th Asian World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2024 is due to be held from August 6 to 12 at Batam, Indonesia while the 15th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2024 is slated to be held from November 5 to 11 in Maldives.
