U-19 Women's One Day TrophySeterny powers THAU to second win

IMPHAL, Apr 16 : THAU, Thangmeiband thumped PTCC, Patsoi Part III by 84 runs for their second Group A win in the ongoing 2nd U-19 Women's One Day Trophy at its home ground today.
Opting to bat first, THAU amassed a massive total of 226/5 in the allotted 35 overs thanks to a ton from Seterny Brahmacharimayum (104 off 80 balls; 17 fours) and a half century from Thoithoibi Ahongsangbam (47-ball 50).
Chasing 227 for the win, PTCC were bundled out for 142 runs with Niruta Thoudam (5/14 in 7 overs) and Hijam Malemkhombi (3/23 in 6 overs) leading the THAU bowling attack.
For PTCC, Khundrakpam Angoubi picked two wickets (2/39) before Lourembam Prena hit a 65-ball 50 in a lost cause.
