Jawan found dead inside sentry post

IMPHAL, Apr 2: A personnel of Kumaon Regiment presently posted at Ningthoukhong has been found dead with a bullet injury on his head inside a sentry post.
One Naik Subedar of 16 Kumaon Regiment lodged a complaint to the OC, Bishnupur police station stating that one Sepoy N Kamal Bhakuni s/o Chandan Singh of Banga village, Almora district, Uttarakhand, was found dead inside a sentry post with bullet injury on his head this morning.
Soon after, a team of Bishnupur police and State forensic experts rushed to the spot and carried out an inquest of the dead body and its surrounding area.
Later the dead body was deposited at RIMS morgue.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in connection with the incident, sources said.
