Valedictory service of TTS, commencement exercise of RTS held

KANGPOKPI, Apr 21 : The 36th Valedictory Service of Trulock Theological Seminary (TTS) and the 13th Commencement Exercise of Restoration Theological College (RTS) was held in the presence of the Kangpokpi Christian Church in Kangpokpi town.
Graduation certificates were handed over to 4 students for the batch of 2023-24 with Master of Theology Degree conferred by Martin Luther Christian University, 5 students with Master of Divinity Degree accredited by Asia Theological Association and 9 students with Bachelor of Divinity from Senate of Serampore College (University).
The ceremony kicked off with the arrival of the graduating students, followed by an invocation by Pastor Nehcha Chongloi. Dr Hemkhochon Chongloi, Principal of TTS-RTC, delivered a welcoming address and presentation.
Dr T Lunkim, at the helm of the Kuki Christian Church Theological Education Board, orchestrated the pivotal moment of degree/diploma conferral, while Dr Holkholet Khongsai, in his capacity as the Associate Administrative Secretary of the Kuki Christian Church Assembly delivered the valedictory address.
The Seminary and College bestowed a diverse array of prestigious awards upon graduating students, recognizing their achievements across various categories.
The General Proficiency Prize was awarded to Kimneikhol Chongloi and Jangminlen Kilong and the All-Round Contribution Award was given to Thenkhongam Haokip.
Meanwhile, Boigin Chongloi received the Language Prize in Hebrew (Preliminary) and also the Language Prize in Greek (Preliminary) along with Lhunkhomin Kipgen. Jangminlen Kilong and T Lettinchon Chongthu were honored with the Theology of Restoration Award and the Promising Preacher Prize respectively, while Jangkholun Khongsai and Boigin Chongloi earned the Academic Award in Old Testament and New Testament respectively.
Lt Nehminlun Khongsai and Kimneikhol Chongloi were recognized with the Academic Award in Religions and Kimneikhol Chongloi also received the Academic Award in Missiology.
