IMPHAL, Apr 22 : PTCC, Patsoi Part III overwhelmed PTRC, Patsoi Part IV by 346 runs at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak to end their Group campaign in the 2nd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy with three victories.
The result also meant that PTCC entered the semi-finals along with THAU, Thang-meiband who have won three of three Group A matches.
PTRC had to regret their decision field first as Laishram Teresa and Lourembam Prena hit tons to steer PTCC to a massive total of 380 runs for two wickets in 35 overs before bundling them out for a meagre total of 34 runs within 21.5 overs for the massive victory.
PTCC got off to a bright start with Laishram Teresa and Kiran Laishram taking on PTRC bowlers to rack up 134-run first wicket partnership before Laitonjam Benita undone Kiran Laishram for 16 runs in the 14th over.
Teresa and Lourembam Prena then combined well  to forge a remarkable 168-run partnership before Teresa was removed by Laishram Anjali on 174 off 87 balls for the second wicket in the 27th over. Teresa's knock included 31 fours and 1 six.
Lourembam Prena was unbeaten on 115 off 78 balls with Linthoingambi Laishram 19 not out as PTCC closed out the innings at 380 for 2.
In reply, PTRC never looked in contention and slumped to 34 all out as Sanaloo Takhelmayum (2/3 in 4 overs), Konsam Sayatombi (2/2 in 3.5 overs), Linthoingambi Laishram (2/5 in 3 overs) and Anju Khundrakpam (2/9 in 4 overs) put in a concerted effort for PTCC.
Laishram Teresa was adjudged player of the match.
Elsewhere at THAU ground, SHADOW, Thangmeiband beat PCC, Mayaikoibi by 25 runs to cap their Group A campaign on a winning note after losing three previous games.
Put in to bat first, SHADOW amassed 121 runs for all wickets down in 26.5 overs and managed to bowl out PCC for 96 runs in 26.4 overs riding on Priyanshee Hanglem's five for.
Kebriya Sapam scored highest 33 runs for SHADOW before Yensenbam Nikita broke the back of their batting line up on the way to her haul of 4 wickets (4/21 in 5 overs).
Priyanshee also added 15 runs to SHADOW's tally in an innings that saw SHADOW concede 53 extras.
Hemam Lingjen (2/28) also picked two wickets for PCC as Nongthombam Langlenthoibi and Elangbam Sophia picked a wicket apiece.
In reply, Priyanshee swept top five batters including two wickets each in the third and the fifth overs to leave PCC struggling at 31/5 in 6.2 overs before RK Valentina removed 8th and the 9th wickets before setting up Victory Maibam run out for the 10th wicket as the scoreboard read 96 runs.
Keithellakpam Katrina 20 was the only double digit run getter for PCC in this match.
