3rd State Level Iputhou Paona Ningshing Huyel Lanlong Yendamnaba begins

IMPHAL, Apr 22 : The Apunba Manipur Huyen Lanlong Lup (AMHLL) kick-started the 3rd State Level Iputhou Paona Ningshing Huyel Lanlong Yendamnaba this afternoon at SEVA Club, Thongju Part II.
The opening function was graced by Okram Manglem, president of Apunba Manipur Huyel Lanlong Lup and Guest Faculty, MUC; Senjam Awangba (Surjit), president, Umanglai Laiphamlen Yokhat Lup and others as presidium members.
The competition will see athletes compete in Thang Chunggoi Marol (individual boys and girls), Thang Chunggoi Chainaba (dual boys and girls) and Ta Khousaba (boys and girls) components of Huyel Lanlong, said AMHLL in a release.
The competition is being organised as a tribute to the heroes of Khongjam War of 1891 and Lanchinglen Iputhou Paona. 165 athletes from various Thang-Ta institutes are participating in the competition, it added.
