DEO urges all to vote conscientiously

JIRIBAM, Apr 23 : DEO Jiribam Krishna Kumar has appealed to the electors in the district to take part in the democratic process of voting on April 26 and take part in Nation building.
Addressing a press briefing at Jiribam DC office at Chingdok Leikai today, the DEO said that the voting in the district will begin from 7 am and conclude at 4 pm.
Appealing to all the voters to bring their identity cards while coming to cast their votes, Krishna Kumar asked all to refrain from wasting their Constitutional right. If there is any case of bribery then the people can lodge their complaint through the Helpline number 1950, he said and added the Central and State forces will be deployed at all polling stations to conduct the election peacefully. The DEO launched a specially designed T-shirt for the election in the presence of SP Jiribam A Ghanashyam Sharma and Assistant Returning Officer/ ADC, Jiribam Thokchom Manoranjan Singh among others.
