IMPHAL, Apr 8 : Chingkhei Hunba Polo Club (CHPC) entered the 19th Women's State Level Polo Tournament final as Arvind Polo Club booked the final ticket in the 7th Junior Boys State Level Polo Tournament.
CHPC entered the final with a 6-2 win over Ebudhou Pakhangba PC in a semi-final match today at All Manipur Polo Association ground, Iroishemba.
Neelu RK starred in the match scoring five goals alone while Th Tanna added the other goal. It was a brilliant start to the game for CHPC as Neelu scored three goals back to back before Th Tanna scored one to make it 4-0.
Neelu scored a goal apiece in the 2nd and the 4th chukkers to walk away 6-2 winners as Ngounu Salam and Mona Kamei scored a goal each for Ebudhou Pakhangba PC in the 3rd and the fourth chukker respectively.
Meanwhile, Thoubal District Polo Association (TDPA) won 8-6 against UPC to secure a place in the 7th Junior Boys' Tournament semi-finals.
TDPA will play Madan PC in the semi-final match tomorrow.
The day also saw Arvind Polo Club enter the boys tourney final with a 10-3 win over Black Watch PC in a one sided encounter.
