State Level Handball : YLK crowned both sub-junior boys and girls' champions

IMPHAL, Apr 8 : Hosts YLK, Chingarel Tejpur claimed both the boys and girls' title of the 45th Sub-Junior State Level Handball Tournament organised under the auspices of Manipur Handball Association.
In the sub-junior boys' final clash, YLK defeated OYO, Kongpal 19-14 to win the top title. S Keiku (9) , N Adison (5) and Kh Jupiter (3) led the scoring for the winners as K Chingkheinganba and N Albert scored a goal apiece.
For OYO, Ksh Yaithoiba scored 4 goals and Ksh Premchandra scored thrice as Ksh Krinibash and Ksh Albish scored two goals apiece and Ksh Geetchandra added one.
Meanwhile in the girls' final, YLK rode on goals from L Nomika (6), N Selina (3), N Pitalika (2) and N Lavid (2) to crush OYO, Kongpal 13-1.
