Cheiraoba greetings

IMPHAL, Apr 8 : Governor Anusuiya Uikey and Chief Minister N Biren Singh have led in extending their greetings to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba, which falls on April 9.
In her statement, the Governor urged people to strive for a better Manipur by setting apart their differences and working for a common goal. She also encouraged people to rededicate themselves to strengthen their bonds of friendship so that all communities can live as brothers and sisters, notwithstanding differences in caste, creed, language and religion.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh stated that the festival marks the end of the previous year and the onset of a new year and expressed hope that the arrival of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba will fill everyone with positivity and zeal to turn one's dreams into reality and efforts into achievements.
Extending their Cheiraoba wishes, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, United Committee Manipur, Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) and Manipur Ima have prayed for prosperity, peaceful co-existence, resolution of the conflict and good health for everyone in the State.
