IMPHAL, Apr 8 : Sang-gai Football School (SGFS) and Liwachangning Youth Cultural Club (LYCC) posted wins as NISA held YPHU to a goalless draw in today's matches of the 16th Manipur State League.
In a Group A match at DSA Ground, Kakching, SGFS edged past the Athletics Football Club  (AFC) 2-1 courtesy of an own goal by Abujam Nanao (65') before Shagolshem  Priyojit converted a penalty in the 75th minute.
SGFS were trailing behind by a goal in the first half with Pukhrambam Deepak Singh conceding an own goal in the 14th minute of the match.
Meanwhile in the second Group A match of the tournament staged this afternoon at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong,  LYCC drubbed United Brothers FC (UBFC) 3-0 as Khangembam Shitaljit struck a brace (3',5') within the first five minutes of the game and Chara Mongampha Moyon scored late in the 86th minute.
Meanwhile in the Group B match, 10-man YPHU played out a goalless draw with NISA.  YPHU lost Mutum Dev picking up a second yellow one minute into the stoppage time (first yellow card : 75') but NISA failed to capitalise on the late numerical superiority they enjoyed.
