AMBBA athletes head to Kochi for Asian and World bodybuilding trials

IMPHAL, May 10 : The athletes of All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) who were selected to attend National team trials for the 56th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2024-25 and 15th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2024 have left Imphal today.
The players who left Imphal today for the trials beginning tomorrow at Kochi in Kerala are Th Yaishana (junior men-75 kg bodybuilding) of Royal Gym Ningomthong, Kh Rishikanta (junior men -75 kg bodybuilding) of Friend Fitness Gym-Tera, Chongtham Bluncely (junior men +75 kg bodybuilding) of Ogust Gym-New Checkon, Sakibur Yumkhaibam (junior men +75 kg bodybuilding) of 3 Brothers Gym-Porompat, RK Sanathoi (senior men 70 kg bodybuilding) of Sangai Gym- Khagempalli, S Bhaktaraj (senior men 75 kg bodybuilding) of RFA-Thoubal, K Arnold (senior men 80 kg bodybuilding) of MPSC, A Pibarel (senior men 85 kg) of YBB Gym-Pishum, Engudam Kavita Chanu (women's +55 kg bodybuilding) of Friend Fitness Gym and Joyjeet Waikhom (men's athletics physique) of Royal Gym.
The players were formally flagged off by the association in the presence of their well wishers.
