CM hails damage assessment drive

IMPHAL, May 11 : Chief Minister N Biren Singh has lauded the Horticulture & Soil Conservation Department for taking out crop damage assessment drives in different parts of the State following the destructive hailstorm of May 5.
A post of the Chief Minister on the microblogging site X (formerly Twitter) read, "I appreciate the team from the Department of Horticulture & Soil Conservation for conducting a field visit and interacting with the farmers of Phubala, Sunisiphai and adjoining areas of Bishnupur district on 11th May, 2024, in continuation of the ongoing measures to provide assistance to the hailstorm affected farmers.
As reports are being collected from the farmers, we are taking up prompt measures to address their immediate needs and provide necessary assistance."
