A committee of 13 members have come together to form Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (MEELAL) Assam.
According to a statement issued by Soibam Arun Meetei, secretary publicity, MEELAL Kangleipak, Seram Herajit was appointed as the president; Lisam Birlal as vice president and W Surendra as secretary general, among others.
Any activity related to Meetei Mayek in Assam will be handled by the newly constituted organisation under the guidance of MEELAL Kangleipak, said the statement.
