IMPHAL, May 19: The militant outfit KCP has disclaimed any connection whatsoever with the shooting of three non-local men at Naoremthong, Imphal West at around 7 pm on Saturday.
KCP under the leadership of Ibungo Ngangom will never indulge in any activity having the potential to compromise the overall standing and ethos of the Meetei/Meitei community in a super-sensitive and communally charged situation like the present wherein the diabolical and well backed enemies of Kangleipak are busy waiting for opportunities to attack and demonize the Meitei community in front of the world in every manner possible, said a press release issued by the outfit’s information and public relations secretary M Punsiba Meitei.
