IMPHAL, May 20: The Lamphel Sanakeithel Development Authority has appealed to all concerned including the media not to give the wrong address of Lamphel Sanakeithel when some incidents happened at Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here this afternoon, Lamphel Sanakeithel Development Authority president Mangoljao Samjetsabam clarified that the People’s Store where shots were fired by unidentified persons last night is located at Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai, not at Lamphel Sanakeithel.
Taking the name of Lamphel Sanakeithel wrongly for several ugly or unwanted incidents that took place at Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai has harmed the image of the people of Lamphel Sanakeithel, he said.
If any one takes the name of Lamphel Sanakeithel ever again for incidents that take place at Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai, the Lamphel Sanakeithel Development Authority would be constrained to take help of the law, Mangoljao added.
