AKSA rally to devastate ELSA 12-2

IMPHAL, May 20 : It rain goals today at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School playground as AKSA, Kwakta demolished ELSA, Naranseina by 12-2 goals in the 14th match of the 4th Keisam Babu Memorial Super Division Football League 2022-23.
ELSA, Naranseina started positive and took a 2-0 lead with Sh Apik Sharma and L Roshan scoring a goal apiece respectively in the 8th and the 26th minutes. But things turned sharply as AKSA fought back valiantly and made it 4-2 at half-time before pumping in 8 more goals in the second half to seal the game 12-2.
It was Md Jahir Khan who opened the team's account in the 31st minute before Md Shuaib scored back to back in the 35th and the 39th minutes to complete the turnaround. Md Javed then netted the team's fourth in the 41st minute to make it 4-2.
After the break, they carried forward the momentum and made it 5-2 through Nishar Ahamad after 48th minutes. Md Shuaib also went on to score twice (49', 87') to complete his haul of four goals as Javed scored his second in the 66th minute. Mushan Khan (51'), Aliban Hussain (69'), Md Afridi (81') and Md Ajimuddin (84') were also on target to help AKSA seal the dominating win.
